Attorney Patricia Candamo
Patricia Candamo, Esq. graduated from Stetson University College of Law. While attending law school, she worked at Carlton Fields (Jorden Burt) assisting attorneys during all phases of the litigation process. After graduation, Patricia worked at the Public Defender's office in Hillsborough County, where she handled thousands of cases involving Driving Under the Influence (DUI), traffic offenses, juvenile misdemeanor and felony cases and other criminal offenses. After leaving the Public Defender's office, Patricia joined Scott A. Haas PA (Shaaslaw) where she practiced in the areas of Construction Law, Business Litigation, Commercial Litigation and Collections.
Patricia is licensed to practice law in all Florida State and County Courts as well as Federal matters in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Also, she is a member of The Florida Bar, Hillsborough County Bar Association, Tampa Hispanic Bar Association and Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers. Patricia speaks Spanish fluently. Her education and trial experience make her an excellent advocate for her clients. She will zealously represent you in your case.
Pro-bono and Volunteer Work
Patricia Candamo volunteers with Bay Area Legal Services interviewing low-income residents and providing them with advise on legal issues. She has volunteered with Gulf Coast Legal Services to provide translation and legal assistance for immigration cases. Patricia also volunteers at Trinity Café serving meals to the homeless and hungry.
Patricia has been selected to participate in the Hillsborough County Bar Association Leadership Institute Class of 2015-2016. The program aims to identify attorneys who have the potential to develop into future leaders within the Bar and the Tampa Bay community.
